Let the fun begin

The past couple of weeks have been very exciting for us around the farm watching the new 30' x 96' cold frame come together.  Now it is finally complete and ready for plants.  Neil and his dad (Jim) has put in many hours making sure the cold frame is done in time for plants.  Neil also had help from his brother (Brandon) and friend (Brent).  We would like to thank everyone for all of their hard work.  Our smaller starting cold frame is complete as well and ready for seeds.  As of today, February 1, 2010, Neil will be starting seeds.  It won't be long until both of the cold frames are full of vibrant green plants. 

Along with all of the excitement, our CSA program is off to a great start.  As many of you know, this is our first year of offering CSAs and we feel very blessed to have people in our community willing to purchase our fresh home grown produce.  Thank you again for all of those who have supported us and our family farm.
