FAQ

1. When does the signup season end?

We close the signups on March 1st for that years season.

2.  What will happen to my basket if I am going to be unable to pickup my basket for a given week?

If for some reason you are unable to pickup your basket we ask that you will email us three days prior to your pickup to let us know that you can not pick up.  At this point you have two options either we will give you a market credit of $11 for half shares and $21 for full shares or you can choose to donate your basket to someone at market using a WIC check.

If you choose to do credit you will be able to spend that money later in the season with us at another market to supplement what you are getting in your baskets.  This money will have to be spent by the ends of markets in October.

If you choose to donate it, we will also donate a basket ourselves and we will choose people at that market to give that basket to when they pay with a WIC check.  This is a great option to help out 2 families in need.  These families are extremely thankful for this and normally speechless.  It is a great way to pay it forward.

3.  What if I get something in my basket that I know I will not eat?

When you pickup we give the option for you to trade out items for like value of another item.  We know that not everyone will like everything they are getting so this gives an option to help custom design your weekly produce.

4.  How much produce is in a half share versus a full share?

We believe that a half share contains enough produce for two adults for one week that will have a vegetable with their dinner.  This is done by trying to get 4 to 8 diiferent items.

The full share contains enough produce for a family of four(depends if kids are older or younger, so give or take) or for two adults that eat mainly a vegan diet.  We try to expand the variety to 6 to 10 different items and not just doubling everything that would be in the half shares.

5. What items could be in our baskets for each month?

The following is a prospective list of items available each month and can change of course depending on the weather.  We are also always looking to add new items.
